What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient medical tradition from China. Acupuncture is based on the belief that energy (Qi, or Chi, the body’s vital force) flows via energy channels (meridians) throughout the body. When disease, injury or pain occur, the channels may become blocked. Flow of Qi is disrupted, creating imbalance in the liver or kidneys, for example. An acupuncturist unblocks the channels by inserting fine, sterile needles into specific acupoints along meridians, to stimulate natural balance, free flow of Qi, and the healing of disease.

What conditions does Acupuncture treat?

Acupuncture is a century’s old tool to support the body in healing many conditions.  The most common are acute and chronic pain syndromes: low back pain, neck pain, knee, elbow & foot pain, arthritis (joint pain), headaches, migraines, gout, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), fibromyalgia, sciatica, and sports injuries such as muscle sprains and strains.   I have also used acupuncture to help treat allergies, asthma, stress, hayfever, sinusitis, indigestion, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Colitis, heartburn, osteoporosis and osteopenia, insomnia and more.

Acupuncture for Endocrine support

Acupuncture is useful in treating endocrine or hormonal imbalance including signs and symptoms of menopause (hot flashes, night sweats), PMS and menstrual irregularities, chronic fatigue, depression/anxiety, adrenal disorders, etc.

How does Annie use Acupuncture?

"At my acupuncture clinic, I use a combination of acupuncture, nutritional supplements (e.g. enzymes, homeopathy, minerals, vitamins) and other natural therapies (for example, cold laser) to alleviate and cure symptoms. I spend quality time getting to know each patient, over an hour the first visit."

I help people get better in as few visits as possible!  Average patient visits are 3 times in 3 months!  So you save time and money by utilizing my system of healing.  Many people feel better within a few days to a few weeks.  Call 707-547-0500 for a free mini phone consultation.
